"What do you want to do tonight?" "I don't know, what do you want to do?" Every couple has this conversation. The problem isn't a lack of options. It's decision fatigue. You want something good, but searching through review sites and making reservations feels like work.
What we built
Tell the AI your city, the occasion, your vibe, and any preferences. It generates a complete evening plan: restaurant, activity, timing, and even what to wear. Everything linked to real places with real availability.
Built in two hours as a test of how fast we could ship a consumer product. The answer: very fast.

Defined the input fields
City, occasion, vibe, dietary preferences, budget range. Enough to personalize without overwhelming.

Claude API with Google Places integration for real venue suggestions with ratings and hours.

Timeline format with venue details, travel time between stops, and reservation links.

Verified venue quality and timing accuracy in Scottsdale, SF, NYC, Tokyo, and London.
Reflections
What we took away from this project.
What went wrong
The AI sometimes suggested venues that were permanently closed. We had to add real-time availability checking.
What went right
The tone of the AI suggestions made a huge difference. Playful, confident recommendations converted better than formal ones.
What we learned
Consumer AI products need personality. The same information delivered with charm vs. delivered flat produces completely different engagement.
